Open Mango

TERMS OF SERVICE

Last changed 2026-10-19.

These terms are between you and whoever runs Mango at this address ("we", "us"). Mango is open-source software; these terms cover the service we run with it, not the software, which has its own licence. By making an account, or using a guest account, you agree to them. If you do not, do not use the service.

What the service is

We give each reader a Mango of their own: a reader for manga, manhwa and comics that runs in the browser, with its own library, extensions and downloads. Mango holds no titles. Pages come from sources you choose, through extensions you install, when you open them. We do not choose, host, check or endorse what those sources offer.

Your account

What you may not do

Extensions are other people's code. We may block an extension or a source for everyone, without notice, when it is unsafe, abused, or the subject of a complaint we judge valid. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms; where we can, we say why first.

Content and complaints

What you read is fetched from third-party sources at your request. You are responsible for making sure that is lawful where you are. If you believe something reached through Mango infringes your rights, write to [email protected] with what it is and where; we act on valid notices, which may mean blocking an extension or a source.

Plans and payment

Your data

Your library, reading progress and downloads are yours. Mango can write them out at any time, on any plan: a backup Mihon and Suwayomi read, and your downloaded chapters as one zip. The privacy policy says what we keep and for how long.

The service as it is

We run Mango with care, on hardware we look after ourselves, and back it up every night. Still, it is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind. Sources and extensions break, change or disappear, and that is not ours to fix. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending

You can remove your account at any time from your account page; everything in it goes, and its backups go 30 days later. We may end the service, with at least 30 days' notice to every account with an email, and a refund of any unused paid period.

Changes

We may change these terms. A change that matters is announced on this page and by email to accounts with one at least 14 days before it applies. Using Mango after that means you accept the change.

Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without taking away any protection the law where you live gives you as a consumer. Questions: [email protected].
